Barangay 6 known as "TULAHAN" and composes of five (5) puroks namely; Purok Pilit 1, Purok Pilit 2, Masagana, Magsanaya, & Purok Macapiña. Our total land area is 137,800 m2 with 140 sub-lots, four sub-lots are bank owners, four sub-lots for the Province of Negros Occidental, eighteen sub-lots owned by the City of Bacolod and 114 sub-lots for private sector. One half of the said areas are occupied by squatter houses, 4 establishment occupants such as the Carmen Cuadra Bldg, Imperial court, Food Terminal Market & Kadiwa of the Province. For religious sector we have the Iglesia ni Kristo, Baptist Church and a chapel for the Catholic Church.

 

Barangay 6 has the total population of 4,736,2,211 are males and 2525 are females. Residents sources of income are: imployment form government agencies, others workin in private firm and establishments. Some are vendors, masons & construction "Remedio General" with no fixed source of income.

 

The growth of expasion and improvement of Barangay 6 would be commercial building and government agencies with branches both from the province ad the city.
