The CLUP-Social Development Sector Committee Chaired by Mr. Sergio Tan from the HOPE Foundation held its workshop last February, 2013 to identify issues, concerns, goals, objectives, targets as well as programs/projects.

The City Planning and Development Office (CPDO) of Bacolod City performs the development and planning services of the city as per Local Govt. Code (RA 7160).

Formulate and integrate economic, social, physical and other development plans and policies for consideration by the local development council;

Conduct continuing studies, researches and training programs necessary to evolve plans for implementation;

Monitor and evaluate the implementation of different development programs, projects and activities to ensure that they are executed in accordance with the approved development plans;

Analyze the income and expenditure patterns of the city and recommend fiscal plans and policies for consideration by the Local Finance Committee of the City Government

CITY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL MEETING
FIRST CDC MEETING WAS CONDUCTED ON APRIL 26, 2015 HELD AT MASSKARA HALL 1,2 & 3. THERE WERE SIX (6) CDC RESOLUTIONS PASSED AND APPROVED FOR ENDORSEMENT TO SANGGUNIAN PANLUNGSOD RATIFICATION.
SPONSOR TO FLAG RAISING CEREMONY
IN 2015, THE FIRST FLAG-RAISING SPONSORSHIP OF CPDO WAS HELD ON APRL 6, 2015. WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF ALL STAFF INCLUDING THE ON-THE-JOB-TRAINEES FROM LCC, USLS AND CHMSCI.
SUMMER JOBBERS ASSISTED IN THE LAND USE SURVEY OF MAJOR AREAS IN BACOLOD CITY
CPDO WAS THANKFUL TO MR. ROCKY PUENTEVELLA FOR PROVIDING THE CITY PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT OFFICE 25 SUMMER JOBBERS WHO ASSISTED IN THE VALIDATION OF LAND USES OF MAJOR AREAS IN THE CITY .
