Barangay Tangub, as one of the Rural Barangay of Bacolod City, has two pronounced seasons, wet and dry. The rainy season starts from June to January of the foloowing year with heavy rains ocurring during the month of February up to the last week of April to December, and January are the coolest months while April is the hottest. It registers an 8.5 degrees fahrenheit, while the average low regiters 74.8 degrees fahrenheit.
