CITY PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICE
In order to help establish peaceful, progressive, economic and social welfare and development, the Sangguniang Barangay Members adapted the following as our mission;
1. We adhered to the democratic way of life and values and pledge our loyalty to the Republic and Filipino people;
2. We, are bound to uphold allegiance to public service over and above loyalties to any individual, group or specific interest;
3. We are committed to carry out the policies and objectives of the programs and projects implemented within our area of responsibility;
4. We, are mandate to execute laws, rules and ordinances for the betterment of our Barangay.
As a basic political unit which serves as the primary Planning and implementing unit of Government Policies, Planning, Projects and Activities in our community and as a form wherein the collective views of the people maybe expressed crystallizing and considered and where disputed maybe amicably settled. We, the members of Sangguniang Barangay have the following as our Vision in the Strategic and Development of our Barangay:
1. For the delivery of social and basic services, priority must be given to depressed area, access to education, feeding and nutrition programs, health care and other medical services;
2. In development of tourist’s spots, promote and develop tourism in the Negros Forest and its Mini-Zoo for endangered species of animals such as birds, snakes, deer, and wild pigs;
3. To have a peaceful and drug free Barangay in Bacolod City;
4. To be the Provincial Government Center;
5. To have honest and transparent Barangay Governance and;
6. To have a workable budget in order to give our constituents efficient and dynamic operating mechanism in the delivery of basic services.
