Barangay 37 was officially created into Barangay by virtue of Presidential Decree No. 86 and 86-A stating that all barrios shall henceforth be exercise by strengthening and defining the role of the Barangay. Pd 86-A provides that the collective view of the people shall be considered in the information policies and programs.
