Geographical Location/Boundaries

 

               The Barangay is a geographical located in the Western portion of the Bacolod City.  It is located in the road/street of Rizal Street to Gonzaga Street and Gonzaga Mabini to Lopez Jaena Street. And it is bounded by Barangay 24 on the South, Barangay 23 on the North, Barangay 27 on the East and Barangay 28 on the West.  One (1) kilometer away from s City proper and almost twenty (20) minutes to ride with the public vehicles.

 

     Land Area

 

              The Barangay 26 has a Land area of Seven Point One Three Two Two (7.1322) Hectares.

 

     Climates

    

              The Barangay 26 as one also of the Urban Barangay of the City of Bacolod has two (2) pronounced seasons dry and wet.  The Dry Season starts from the month of January until second week of May is the hottest month.  And the Wet Seasons starts from the last of May until the whole month of October with Heavy rains.  The month of December and January is the coolest month.  The tropical climate with a mean of annual low land temperature of about 27 Centigrade (80 Fahrenheit) Temperatures more between day and night, the high and low Altitude than between seasons.

              The Barangay 26 has One Hundred Percent (100%)          a Plain.  And it’s described as four sided figure lines.        

 

 

     Geology

 

              The Barangay 26 is an interior part of the City of Bacolod.  It’s classified into four (4) puroks.  And it’s located between the roads of Rizal Street and Gonzaga – Mabini Lopez Jaena Street.

                    In the Year 2011 the Barangay Health Workers and Barangay Nutrition Scholar conducted a survey or a population census up with 3,602 as the total population.  The recent survey of 2010, the population was 3,248.       

 

                    The result of the survey shows that the ages 31 to 55 years of age belongs to 65% of the population, ages from 7 to 33 years of ages belongs to 22%, ages from one month to 6 years old goes to 9% and 4% for the ages 56 old and above.
