The Mission of the Present Barangay Administration

 

• Potable water system projects well managed in Purok level  

To develop and implement water system projects managed by the Purok leadership in line with the concept of service and entrepreneurial consideration.

 

• Address poverty through sustainable livelihood and skills enhancement programs.

Implement a livelihood program base on sustainability back-up with a viable study, develop skills enhancement program based on their specific livelihood project management needs.  

 

• A sustainable environment program with emphasis on SOLID WASTE Management and enforcement of laws and provisions specified in Republic Act. 9003

Implement sustainable and integrated environment program from education to enforcement based on the Republic Acr 9003. Make Barangay ordinances whenever and if necessary to make this program work. Acquire dump-truck and other necessary equipment and structure for this purpose

 

• FLOOD FREE BANAGO

Construct, Rehabilitate the existing drainage system and implement a comprehensive program to prevent the flooding caused by poor drainage system flood control mechanism and other man made problem that causes flooding. Conduct a Comprehensive Disaster Preparedness Plan and form a regular Structure for this concern.     

      

• A Recreational center and/or plaza

To find ways in order to acquire a place, build a structure to be use as a recreational center and/or a plaza inside the Barangay.   

 

• A Barangay satellite market.

Conduct a thorough study and find possible means to build a satellite market better than what we have now. For a Barangay as big as Banago deserves one. 

 

• Concrete foot walk riprap and foot bridges and other structures needed in affected puroks and communities.

To carefully study and implement all requests regarding construction of concrete footwalk , riprap and foot bridges and other structures needed in affected puroks and communities as long as our resources will allow us.

 

• A peaceful, orderly and drug-free Barangay.

To implement a peace and order program, coordinate with all proper authorities and stakeholders in order to bring all forms of lawlessness criminalities down if not eliminated. Enhance the capacity of our peace and order forces in handling all kinds of cases and situation. Coordinate the program with all concerns in relation to peace and order problem.

  

• A systematic delivery of Barangay Justice System.

Implement a program that will enhance the capability of the Personnel involves in the delivery of Barangay Justice System. Expand the training program to all Purok officials so as to help the Lupon especially in settlement process in neighborhood level.

 

• Comprehensive program for women, children and elderly.

Implement a comprehensive program concerning welfare of women, children and elderly sector. Implement capability enhancement of GAD personnel. Maximize consultation or institutionalize them by forming organization of these sectors. Systematize all information and records to effectively respond regarding this concern.

 

• Better and timely delivery of health care, education and scholarship programs and services.

Implement systematic program of health care, nutrition, education and scholarship programs and services. Establish coordination with other institution or NGO’s that carries this type of programs and services for possible formal partnership.

To provide efficient delivery of basic services to the residents of Barangay Banago by tapping all fund sources from the local, national and other agencies, including NGOs

 

• Capable Purok Officials that handle matters in their respective areas of jurisdiction and concerns.

Institute capability program for Purok leadership formation, Strong Purok will form a strong barangay base.

 

• Comprehensive Youth Development Program with focus but not limited to culture and sports.

Implement a Development program for the Youth that will form them good leadership base and training ground for service mentality without losing sight of Sports and Cultural Activities.

 

• Develop a festival that promotes positive culture of Banago

Festivals that depicts positive cultural values and identity of Banago must be developed and enhance the celebration every year.

 

• Transparent, Consultative and Participatory Barangay Administration

Implement projects and activities that will promote transparency, Consultative and Participatory atmosphere in all level of Barangay Administration.

Conduct Barangay Peoples Assembly to report to the people and gather direct information and opinion from the people.
